Funniest shit I've heard today:

"Yes, I'd like to complain about your stupid restaurant! I clearly said yesterday that the food be delivered to my office. What happens?! You guys mess it up by delivering the meal at my house, and your delivery boy actually just leaves the package on my front porch since nobody's home, and the neighbors dogs ate it! Your service is downright stupid!"

-From one of the on-call simulations from Convergys entrance exam

Try hearing it with the guys texas accent and all while he's screaming the complaint, and you'll end up laughing! Mwahahahaha!

Tonight, we lived it up. Drinking, with not a care for the world! Hennessy filled our inhibitions raw, courtesy of my cousin, Javi. Can you say thugged out?! It was my first time drinking it, and it sure satisfied me and our group of 10. Now I know why all these rappers and lyricists write about it. Good food, great drinks, another weekend sure not wasted!!

So another Saturday night was spent at my house. Noise reports from the neighbors with security guards comming by every 20 mins, haha. Great camaraderie which is the norm of our group. Laughter, jeers and the usual stories. What's new?! Our group has been tight since day 1, so it's no diff that tonight, we once more, drank like kings and queens.

Also today in the De La Salle Zobel Alumni Cup, our batch, 2000, prevailed over batch 94. Great game! Every weekend during the games, we have a mini reunion which we cherish and look forward to. Since it's one of the few times all of our high school group get together and act as if nothings changed, as if we we're still all awaiting our graduation from high school, yearning for that next great step called college life. Next weekend cant come soon enough. Go batch 2k!

One thing I've noticed though, is that our drinking has sure evolved since high school. Sure, beer has always been a staple, if not the standard of our merry making. But we've been drinking more of wine, champagne, rum, scotch, and the like the past couple of years. 3-4 years ago, I could've never envisioned myself drinking anything other than beer, tequilla, or vodka. Are we getting older? Are we experiencing maturity at a drastic pace? Who knows..? Who cares?! We sure dont!

Our vibe has never changed, and I can picture ourselves being the same, 10, 20, even 30 years from now! I raise a glass and toast to our future. I'm still drinking rum coke as I type. Hehe!

Oh, Audrey and Primo are selling these really, really great chicken nuggets! 150 a pack, 500 grams. They say it tastes exactly like the ones in McDonalds, but for me, it tastes even better(Prim, you owe me for this! Haha kidding!)! Seriously, no joke, they're really great nuggets! Interested? Hungry?! Contact me or Primo(Just go to his link in my blog). I've already hoarded 3 bags of the tasty treat!! =)

I'm gonna be leaving it here for now. I wanna savor my last remaining glass of alcohol watching the Chelsea-Middlesborough game on ESPN. Ciao.

I think we filipino's love doing everything ahead of time. Which is why i wont be surprised come, say 2 weeks time(?) , a lot of houses will be adorned with xmas decors, even though xmas is a good 3 months away. It's a no brainer going around our village that some people will put up xmas decors, while some will put up halloween decors first. Of course, right after halloween, said people, will immediately put up their own xmas decors after taking out the halloween foder.

I can already see xmas commercials comming up.. time sure does fly doesnt it?

I've been hooked lately on this crazy game called Yahoo! Pool. But hey, if your winning, it gets addicting. "I really am the greatest, ever, to play this game!". Hahahaha!

Best lyrics I've heard as of late:

"Share the time againI spend with you
A friend is always good to have
But a lover’s kiss is better than angels raining down at me
I dream of you at times when you’re by my side
Dream you’re not just like you are
So troubled and doubling my pain
Just one more tear
You shed for me
I wish I could climb inside your mind
And spend some time and hug and hold you
And mold you into what I’d like
But no I can’t do this
Just a kiss to spend a while by you
And your familiar smile and voice

I lay awake
Then you lean back and smiling
On you
Most everything you do for me, I say
And the while let’s make our way
And feel warmIn the middle of this storm with you
Like an angel

AlwaysLover, line up and yeah
The road to you is long and I’ve been on it for a while
And I need a warm embrace
I’ll take a break
And say I want to leave you awake
Always.."

On Being Lectured..

Yesterday, I experienced the longest 3 hours in my life. My dad lectured me continually, criticizing a lot of stuff that i was doing. Not about what I was doing in my life, or school.

But about GOLF.

I thought i had the swinging the clubs part down, but my dad proved me wrong. I was rehashed in almost everything. My grip, the way I address the ball, form, knees should be bent a little bit lower, dont take my eyes off the ball and so on..

I also got used to the driving range that the Alabang Country Club offers, so when we hit Southpoint driving range(Dencio's Alabang), everything from the start changed and shook what little confidence I had in my swing. Let me elaborate: In the ACC, the tee girls put an alowance of dirt under your ball so it makes hitting the ball a lot easier. In Southpoint, there is no allowance. You hit the ball off of the turf. Which changed everything. I had difficulty hitting the ball properly, plus the fact that hitting the turf with the head of the club takes its toll on your hands and arms after awhile. So I was having a hard time giving the ball some air time. Soon I was muttering profanities, all while watching this stupid little white ball roll a few pathetic feet to the right, or left of me.. damn it! I see where the patience part of the sport kicks in.

But I didnt give up. With the constant shouting of my dad on what i should do, plus watching him hit the ball, studying his form, swing motion and concentration, after like the 5th bucket, i was hitting the ball almost to his approval. Seems that I keep forgetting my dad's advice of, "Do not choke the club, hold it near the end so you'll achive better flight and distance, at minimum force". Persistance coupled with more profanities and I was getting great distance, great flight and I was swearing less. The 1 pm to 4 pm spent at the driving range was paying off.

Me and my brother(who arrived around 2 pm) didnt want to stop hitting actually, but my other bro already arrived to pick us up, and my dad wanted to watch the UAAP game. Plus my dad told me that i should already stop since the blisters I was getting on my hands and that my hand was starting to hurt meant that I was gripping my club too tight. Guess thats one of the many facets of my game I need improving on. Patience is all it takes. I will get better.

I just wish Southpoint didnt charge too much for beer. Damn. Hehe.

BadminPong
-Invented by: Primo, Jeyps, Victor and Cocoy-

Equipment used:
1 ping pong ball
2-4 ping pong rackets
A Badminton court

Players:
1-4 players

Rules:
1. Ball must bounce at least once on your side of the court before you or your partner may hit it.

2. Once the ball has bounced once in your area, player/s must hit the ball back to the opposing area. You cannot hit the ball twice once it has entered your playing area. That means no hitting the ball straight up in the air after letting it bounce once in your side of the court, and then hitting it to the opposition.

3. When played doubles, players must serve the ball by hitting it to the same side of the opponents area.(eg: player on the right side of his area must serve the ball accross to the opposing player on the left side in his view)

4. Players serving the ball are only allowed 2 faults while serving, before a point is awarded to the opposition.(hitting the net, the ball goes outside the playing area.)

5. A point is automatically awarded to the opposition when, during the rally of the game, you hit the ball and it goes out of the court.

6. Service is granted to whichever team or whosoever player scored the last point.

7. First team or player to score 11 points is the winner.

How to play:
Played either singles or doubles, opposing players first rally to figure out who gets the first service. The game is played as a genetically mutated offspring of the sports: tennis, ping pong and badminton. Hitting the ball is almost like tennis because you may strike the ball as hard as you want, fun part is, because it is a ping pong ball you are hitting, it isnt hard for the opposition to hit the ball back.

The trick lies in how the ball bounces or whether the ball is hit at a certain way, which creates a certain curve in its bounce and flight. Example: the ball may bounce away from you after its initial bounce, or it may bounce at a low degree, or give a certain kick to either left or right side without you realizing it. This gives the game a certain degree of skill, quick thinking and equally quick reactions, and a great deal of nutty fun!

Dont think that this game sounds like its easy to play. It only is at the beginning. Once you get the feel of hitting the ball in certain ways, the fun really starts and the game gets serious. Soon you'll find yourself scampering in all directions just to hit the ball, or running towards it as fast as you can to save it from bouncing twice in your side of the court.

Does it make a great workout? Hell yes. You'd be surprised at how tiring this game can actually be. How many callories are burned during this game, i have no idea yet! LOL!

The main point of why we invented this game is simple, to have fun! I'm sure if you guys try it, you will too... =)
