Next week I'm gonna have my first taste of doing the graveyard shift. My shift will be from 10 pm till 6 am. Not bad actually..

I love the Convergys building in Alabang!! Its so big and spacious! We actually have the whole of the 3rd floor just for ourselves(20 plus the trainer). And its great smoking in the rooftop and looking at the whole view of filinvest and parts of Alabang, especially at night!

Just got my ID today, love the pic I had taken for it! Hehe! I look good in it thats why! =Þ

Too tired to say anything else.. I guess I'll just rest up earlier tonight. Later!

Memo Boy!

Yup.. thats my new tag name given to me by my trainer and some of my co-trainees. How did it happen..?

Well, today I was taking in an irate, no, very irate caller from Atlanta, Georgia who was complaining and swearing at me constantly about her bill being $500. It wasnt my fault right? I just took it in stride, even though she did butt in as I was explaing her bill charges, "NO, YOU LISTEN TO ME SHITHEAD!!". I almost actually laughed at that time.. So I just didnt mind all the profanities as she kept demanding to talk to my supervisor, which is a no-no, and tried calming her down which is when I placed both feet on my desk, leaned back and took a deep breath and smiled as I once again continued explaining her charges. Then one of the team leaders pass by and reprimands me for putting my feet on the desk, while asking me what type of call I had, so we placed her on the speaker phone after taking her off "hold status" and he actually was impressed how I handled the call properly, albeit correcting some of the info I was giving her. I still have to receive the memo though, but hearing "Good job!" on your transition is also rewarding.. =)

To think that 80-85% of the call's we will actually be receiving are irate customers asking about their bill.. STRESS!!!!

I have this strange perception wherein I see my mom as a cross between Eric Foreman's mom from "That 70's show", and Marge Simpson from "The Simpsons". Holy Shaite! She drinks, nags, and repeats the same phrases! Ye Gads!

Who else best fits that description besides the two examples I've given..?!

Whoa..

Man oh man... does it feel GOOD to be back in the south!!

I'm doing great now in my second part of training! My 83 out of 85 during my last practical/written exam boosted my average to a 91-92%! Hahahaha! Feels great excelling in this shit hehehe!

I love doing the practical exams while listening to LaunchCast radio of Yahoo! Pick a genre, and you get a station playing nothing but tracks from that type of music! So far I've been listening to dance/house music, alternative, 90's alternative/grunge/rock, and some hiphop. But one of the best stations is the 70's rock! Led Zep, The Doors, some Eagles(live versions), Aerosmith, etc.. perfect for listening knowing your done with the practical exams, seeing everyone scampering with their exams as you look out the window to the hustle and bustle of Ayala Ave traffic jams.

I'm finally gonna be based back in the Convergys center here in Alabang. Woohoo! I'm certain that I'll miss the Makati lifestyle in one way or another though.. it was great hanging out in Bel Air again with my cousins, drinking at night then sleeping only having to wake up and know that you have 25 mins to get ready for work, and actually make it to work, with a minute to spare at exactly 6:59 am! Hahaha! At least now in Alabang, I can relax and not worry at all about traffic! Easy access, and the comfort of sleeping in your own bed!

I'm still a little tired from today. So I'll post up again another day.

Keep the music playing! =)

I havent been blogging lately. I guess you could put it that I've been really busy with my training. We're halfway thru already, and its like halfway walking thru burning coal. But it's all good. I'm still performing up to par. I enjoy everyday of it, and I only need to improve on one minute detail. My sales pitch as people have been saying is remarkable. Usually, we should be making "scripts" that we read and follow and parlay to the customer, but I dont believe in that sort of thing.

Instead, I would check out the details of whatever "feature" that I need to explain and "sell" to the customer, and would make my pitch spontaenously. Only 2 of us in my training class are doing this, and the rest of our trainee's cant believe how we could do it, without being nervous, plus sounding confident as if saying, "Hey, its a great deal, and I'm signing you up to it RIGHT NOW". There is one thing that I did have to improve on though, and that was that during my first few pitches I apparently sounded like one of those enthustiastic telemarketer's you see on Home Shopping Networks and shit. People would actually find it funny, yet maintaning that it still is a great sales pitch. So I adjusted and just started talking calmly yet assuring and convincing and trusting, that whatever turnabout the customer had("NO", "I DONT WANT/NEED THAT/IT") I am still able to change the customer's mind and convince them that they "DO" need whatever feature it is I'm selling to them. One thing that is easy, is that Americans love hearing the word "FREE", and that MultiMedia Message sending is a new and exciting feature to them, and is very easy to convince them to add this feature to their mobile plans, especially if they have MMS capable mobiles.

Man, I'm getting used to saying "mobile" now instead of the pinoy "cell or cellphone".

Being in BelAir once again is great, its 3 of us again wrecking havoc here, with Mara's boyfriend Momon joining me, Migs and Mara once in awhile. Me and Momon finally went to the guy who harrassed my cousin last halloween last Monday night around 2am and I bitch slapped his ass. It was pretty easy considering the facts that he did. I was surprised that Momon said I hit him hard since all the while I thought that it was fairly "ok". He tried retreating back inside his house, but we threatened that if he went back inside his house that we would barge right in and really beat his ass down. We wanted to make sure that a 34 year old asshole like him wouldnt take advantage anymore of young girls just because he's a fucking popular artsy fartsy shithead. I wanted to beat his ass even more, but he was really on the verge of crying and instead of taking pity on him, I just got tired and we left him, grabbed a few beer's before returning to BelAir, and drank till like 3 am. Thus my reason for being late for training the next day. Its cool though, my trainer Kyle(or Kyla as he/she likes to be called) is quite nice and cool..

I'm tired and I think I've written enough for now.

Oh yeah, I'm a bit confused on a certain topic with certain people. I reiterate, girls are really damn hard to figure out. Oh well..

Just listen to the music and chill...

My Dream

Its like those times when you have this great dream
You know, the types you wish were true
The ones you wish you wouldn’t wake up from
The dreams so surreal that you cant tell
The difference between truth and fiction
I found that dream in you
You are that dream come true
I want to lie in this ethereal slumber
Without any time constraints
For as long as life permits
You are my dream of dreams
You are my dream come true.
