I cant wait for the big beach getaway this February! I miss going to the Lobo, Batangas beach house! Sun, sand and surf during the day.. Stars, sand and surf during the evening. I havent been to the beach in a long time, and this beach trip is the right energizer or pre-summer appetizer.

Work has been crazy and hellish the past few days. A lot of changes are gonna be transpiring in the next few weeks.. Man. Good thing we have this dinner on Sunday or Monday to talk about everything.

*Ahem* Is this a fair trade...?

Music Playing: Nalin and Kane - Beachball

Im sleepy and Im tired.. I still havent had any sleep the previous night. Looks like I'll have plenty of time to recover lost Zzz's since Karl, a soup(supervisor) friend of mine, just texted saying that our almighty Premier system is still down. This has been since sunday night. Sheesh! They actually called the head office in Nashville as Pao(one of the OM's or On-floor Manager) thought that this was only a problem here in our country(same shit in the other CVG offices here..), but it turned out it was affecting systems worldwide. Sprint is seriously fucked since it's affecting their operations in customer service. I get a lot of calls about customers complaining about Sprint, and now I see that their outcries do have a point! Karl was asking if I wanted to hang around the office with him and Pao and check on the system and also help this trainer by doing mock calls for one of the training classes. I have to be there at least from 10-11. If Im still awake by that time, I'll probably go. Its free lunch anyway haha!

Some personal inputs of mine on sports:

Football:
-I just saw Liverpool lose last night 1-0 to a lowly english club in the FA Cup tourney. How embarrasing. Liverpool didnt field in their strongest players, opting to rest them and use their lesser known talents, and it didnt pay well for them. They went down 1-0 in the second half due to poor defence and shortly after substituted in Milan Baros. It was in vain though, as the result did not change. I dont understand why they didnt use Morientes. Why purchase the star striker in the first place?! It was a great chance for him to get more accustomed to the english style of play.
-I also still cannot wait for the ressumption of the Champions League this febuary!! Great match-ups like Man United vs AC Milan(FORZA MILAN!), Juventus vs Real Madrid, and Barcelona vs Chelsea(makes for a great series!!!) are going to be going down, and it's like a football maniacs dream!!! =)
-Real Madrid have shown resurgence in the La Liga, while Barcelona seem to be losing their form which has been great for them the first half of the season. Doesnt matter to me though, since I support both teams! Haha!

NBA:
-I think its great that the teams winning now are a break from the defense oriented game that it is today! One team plays like the 80's(Phoenix), the other one has a run and gun, Euro style of play(Seattle).
-The succesful return of Grant Hill. Lets hope that his great season continues and that his ankle stays good and well.
-The continued rise of the sophomore phenoms, Dwyane Wade and LeBron James. Both play a huge part to their teams success, with Cleveland being a big surprise this season.
-Shaq's shift to the east and Miami's continued success. No doubt that they will make the Finals come june.(dont blame me for being a biased Miami fan!!)
-My surpise teams as of now: Chicago(7 game winning streak?! whoa! young team that will only get better!), Cleveland(although it was expected that King James was gonna bring the team higher up in the rankings), Seattle and Phoenix(duh..!), Washington(their fast style of play is great since their from the east! team is ranked 4th in the league in scoring!!), and sadly New Jersey and Minnesotta's poor play all season(but who can blame New Jersey for losing? they traded K-Mart for shits sake! losing games was a no brainer!! as far as whats up with Minnesotta, I have no fuckin idea..)

Thats all for now.. I hear breakfast calling. Ciao.

Music Playing: Cam feat Anggun - Summer in Paris(Great song!!)

Whew! Sytems were down tonight, couldnt use the program to pull up customers account so i just had to say the same line to callers from 11pm to 12am: "Thank you for calling Sprint PCS, please call back in 2 hours since our systems are currently updating." I FELT LIKE A FUCKING MACHINE saying the same line over and over!!! At around 12, we helped a new group who were starting their 1st day of being on the floor. It was great kidding them around saying shit like, "Turn back now! This is your last chance! Its hell I tell you.. HELLLLL!!" Hahaha! Some girls from that group actually asked me stuff about being on the floor and saying "Thanks for boosting our confidence!" Told them I was just kidding and that they'd enjoy it after awhile.. that all they neeeded was to be confident and that after awhile they'd start to enjoy it.

I was also offered if I wanted to change my shift from night time to daytime. Still thinking about that one..

So I'm home and awake again at 2:20 in the morning.. thank god for TV and PC! AND BEER! Brought home a few after drinking and treating some friends from the office.. I slept most of my birthday away.. it was an ordinary day to me anyway. I also have to treat my cousins in Makati this comming weekend. I can hear my wallet gasping in disbelief now.. But it comes with the time of becoming a year older.

This is it for now I guess.. Ciao!

Something I quickly thought of when I awoke from a sudden dream:

awoken, drifted from the surreality of slumber
haunted by a smile that cut like a knife deep
inside, and although it crosses my mind over
and over, i never guessed in the peace of sleep
that i would find solace in it, that which possesses
and reverberates, a sun which i had thought had set
long ago, who knew that i'd have second guesses
as to which step to take next, what page to turn to
and maybe pause and reflect on what it is that has beset
my inner core, crumpled up not knowing what it is i should do
when i see this sun, its shining light which has captured me since when
we first met, juxtaposed in the serenity of something i had not even begun
to fully comprehend, the meaning of a smile that you wield so well
and still i chose to remain ignorant, oblivious to the facts that tell
the obvious, that i still have to continue to reach this sun
this smile, which i had fallen for ever since then
as long as i see your smile, this sun that shines bright
over everything else, i'll continue to be haunted anew
with a time frame incessant, leading me to the only thing i need to do
which is to continue to reach for that smile, its sun and light.

2. SPEND it more WISELY
3. BE a little more of a GOOD PERSON(not that I already am not... =P)
4. ****SECRET**** (hahahahaha!)

I'm keeping number 4 as a secret so it'll have more chance of coming true! Haha! Who knows right?! It might just work! =)

Heres to a great 2005 for all of us, our families and friends! Cheers!
