I just got a call from my friend who now resides in Bora and spins in Hey Jude. He offered if i was still gonna be going to Bora with my friend Fez coz he got a place where we can stay for free this early March. It really made me think. I WANT to go to Bora, but I NEED to stay for the interview with the embassy for my visa. Also, i'm thinking twice about spending my savings in Bora, rather than use it in the US since i'm gonna be staying there for quite some time. Decisions and Indecisions.. damn.

Sometimes we get what we want, but sometimes it comes with a hefty price to pay. We have to draw the lines from "what we want", to "what is right". Pardon my inane babbling.. hehe!=) A lot has been on my mind now.. From the states, to certain people, to what i should be doing. There are countless things that i want and need to do. But the first thing i must do is take the first step towards it! I need that push for the first step i guess...

My deep, cool paragraph of the week:

"Slowly the pen touches paper in the guidance of the words that you write
memories roll in of the things you once did
and who you had shared them with is somebody thinking of you
did i bother telling you this with the words that cross teeth and jump lips
a poor choice of words in wanting to tell you anything
but words don't come with ease they're forever my hurt
would it really matter if you were to count the days left with your hands
your focus secure and the loves you left well
smiles staged in photographs here until..."

Okey donkey.. passport, check. Visa is now in the works.. this april, i'm gonna find out if i'm gonna be staying in LA or San Fran for exactly 2 weeks on vacation, or for 2 months working for my uncle there. Dollar bill y'all! I'm gonna miss everyone and everything here if i'm gone for 2 months though..

I watched the Aviator a few days ago. Damn good movie! I aint a Di Caprio fan, but credit is deserved for his acting ability there. The story was great too! I admired the visions and determination for success Howard Hughes portrayed in the movie. If people are like that, success is sure bound for your way! Next movie on my list: Constantine!! Oh yeah bebe!

I wonder if i can still squeeze in Boracay next month.. its the perfect place to break in the shades i'm getting from Prim. It gets kinda tiring having nothing but 2 pairs of shades of the same kind(aviators).. Now i have something sporty again after my bro lost his oakleys, such a good pair and color too.. the orange ones. What a dumbass!

Congrats to my bro Justin for being named Zobel's 2005 Junior-Senior Prom King! Hahahaha!!!

There are so many things i have to fix right now.. I have to renew my passport and visa for my sojourn to the US this april. I dont even know where the friggin Department of Foreign Affairs is in Roxas.. I also have to fix and finalize my plans if i am to push thru to my Boracay visit this march. One of my friends now lives and works there. He spins at the Hey Jude bar. I envy him.. He's living his dream. I remember back when we were talking with other friends about how it'd be great to live and work at Bora.. to be one of the locals. To see people come and go, but you'd be a constant in the area, the countless people you'd meet, and the memories you'll surely cherish for a lifetime.

I should be resting now. Im actually running a slight fever and i was already asleep from like 10pm til 3am.. but i woke up all of a sudden and i cant seem to get back to sleep. Ive got a lot of free time once more. I do not intend to waste it being idle. Im also glad i was able to save a substantial amount of money from work. A thousand tomorrows beckon, but first stop is getting back to sleep. Adieu!

A weekend recap:

- Friday -
You know.. as of right now i cant really remember what i did last friday. thats odd.. its like a blur. i was most probably drinking with friends or something..

- Saturday -
Me, vic, cocoy and guion had a pizza, dvd and beer marathon over here at my house. 2 yellow cab pizzas, a case of beer and two good movies. "Without a Paddle" is freaking hilarious! It stars Seth Green, Matthew Lillard and Dax from the tv show Punk'd. Insane laughs start to finish! "Envy" which stars Jack Black, Ben Stiller and Christopher Walken is not like the usual slapstick humorous movie you'd expect. It almost had an indie, dark in an almost Tim Burton way, feel all throughout. Great movie though! Christopher Walken is one of my favorite actors and he did great here.

- Sunday -
Sunday i met up with an "old friend" from morning til around night time. I really missed being with her, but complications sure are still there. Yeesh! After, i had a few drinks at home with my relatives who came to visit.

- Monday -
Me, sieg and cocoy watched the dvd of Blade: Trinity over here. It was the best blade movie out of the 3. Monday pretty muched flew by so fast. Thanks in part since i slept long coz i was up from 7am sunday til around 2am monday early morning.

Lately i've been on this kick of downloading old school glam rock. You know, those big hair rock bands that were prevalent during the late 80's til around 91-93 before grunge music took over. Hehehe. Its great listening to these songs and saying stuff like "Holy shit i remember hearing this for the first time back when i was 3rd, 4th or 5th grade!" Hahaha. Good, clean nostalgia. =)

Tom night i'm gonna be at Vbar to help a friend who's in the running for the Vbar girl of the month thing. Hey, open bar, pretty girls, at least its something to do on a wednesday night.
Later!
